Exosite Launches Professional Services Offerings to Accelerate Time to Market and Reduce Risk for Industrial IoT Applications

by Exosite, on March 31, 2016

MINNEAPOLIS - March 31, 2016 - Exosite, a leading provider of Internet of Things (IoT) enablement technology and services, today launched two new Professional Services Offerings to help industrial companies bring new or legacy IoT-enabled products to market quickly and with as little risk as possible. The Exosite Professional Services team has built hundreds of secure and scalable IoT applications, each with a unique set of hurdles, challenges, and requirements. Based on this experience, the newest Professional Services offerings enable customers to develop complete connected solutions that jumpstart the IoT generation of their business.

Having enabled connected product deployments in some of the world's most demanding markets, Exosite recognized that organizations are often eager to create connected products, but can struggle to develop solutions that are technically sound, take into account voice of the customer, and garner stakeholder approval. As a result, organizations often experience unmet expectations and disappointing results. The newest Professional Services offerings help organizations address these topics at the outset of a new project to expedite the development process and ensure the final solution meets expectations and creates tangible value for the organization and its customers.

"Exosite's Professional Services team is defining a number of offerings that are designed to accelerate customers' time to market and significantly reduce the risk associated with developing a new connected product offering," said Steve VanderSanden, Vice President of Professional Services, Exosite. "Specifically, the Proof of Feasibility and Solution Design offerings leverage our team's experience to provide tools to help our customers tackle the two major questions they face when building an IoT solution: is it technically feasible and how will users want to interact with it."

The two newly released Professional services offerings are:

  • Proof of Feasibility- A fast, low-barrier path to validate the feasibility of connectivity and develop an interactive prototype that can be used to get stakeholder feedback early. A two-track approach to help customers fail fast so they can succeed sooner.
  • Solution Design - A tried and true requirements gathering phase that defines what will be built, capturing the cross section of what is feasible, valuable, usable, and delightful. Because it's not enough to just build the right product; it also has to be built right.
