Qualcomm Extends the Boundaries of Premier Wi-Fi Connectivity Solutions for the IoT

Qualcomm recently introduced the newest addition to its QCA401x connectivity solutions family, the QCA4012 chip, at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2016. Exosite's Taiwan office worked with Qualcomm to develop the show's demos using Exosite's cloud platform.

The new chip brings a list of highly desirable features to the IoT marketplace, including:

  • Dual band
  • Full MCU capability
  • Enhanced security
  • Rich interfaces
  • Low-power Wi-Fi
  • Pin-compatible parts
