Exosite to Present at Arrow's M2M Seminar Series

by Josh Simi, on December 15, 2011

Today's consumers have the expectation of always-on connectivity & access to data – now the embedded market is embarking on a quest for similar connectivity.  Exosite has teamed with Renesas to enable Renesas products with our cloud-based data platform, embedded API libraries and web dashboards.

Exosite and Renesas will present their solution at  Arrow Electronics M2M Seminar Series and demonstrate how to use the "cloud" as a peripheral for embedded products.

During the session attendees will learn that devices and systems that use the cloud can:

1. Generate new areas of revenue

2. Provide new functionality to users and businesses

3. Improve processes for businesses

4. Have almost unlimited storage, processing capabilities, and data accessibility

5. Be managed from a central vantage point for firmware updates, support, and data collection

The sessions will consist of a lecture/discussion and a demonstration of the cloud enabled solution. The first 50 attendees signed up in each city will be given a free RX62N Renesas Development Kit and a free account to Exosite's software.

We've worked hard to expose the power of the cloud in a simple way - as just another peripheral for embedded system design.   It's not complex and doesn't need to be mysterious: looking at cloud connectivity as a peripheral for embedded products helps put things into a more familiar perspective.

Using the internet to interact with devices and data is becoming and will be imperative for most products and systems. Learn how to enable your products to the cloud and get ahead of the curve at any of the following Arrow M2M events:
